Ooh, we are very close. The buds are looking huge. I can totally see the Big Bud genetics in this strain. Just remember to lollipop your plans. Other than that, I did top the “Grease Monkey” in the other tent. There is a video over here somewhere about that. And yeah, waiting. Just. Four. More. Days.
I have to top my little Grease Monkey plants, so I decided to make an educational video for YouTubers. So if you want to know how to Top a plant, watch the video. It’s actually a lot simpler than you might think. It only took me like a whole 10 seconds to comfortably clip it. But then again, I am a trained professional. And I have been doing this for a little while.

July 13th, 2018 – Day 64 of flowering for “Channel”. I Found out some interesting details about the origins of this particular strain. You remember I was telling you all along, that this strain was a Champion. I was not lying. This baby took the first place in the Indica category, in Barcelona, at the 2008 Spannabis Cup. Two years later in 2010, she took the first place for the Best Resin, also in Barcelona. After the big exposure, there were several other, smaller awards. But nothing as major as the Cannabis Cup. Anyway, I was looking into it, and looked up the origins of the genetics behind this tasty champion. It turns out that she is a proud offspring of two excellent hybrid strains. She is a cross of Big Bud and Skunk. ( Now I see shere she gets her smell ) Although she does looks very much like an Indica., She is actually a Hybrid. I guess there are no true Indicas left out there anywhere. But she’s definitely an Indica dominant Hybrid. According to her plant profile, she usually takes anywhere from 55 to 65 days to flower. I am going to push it up to 70, just to make sure. She is also sporting a decent, 20% THC level, and above average yield.

Not a lot of activity in my garden today. Started the flush on the “Channel” Baby Girl yesterday. She is on Day 63 of flowering, and has about a week or so to go until the target date of 70 flowering days. I am thinking I will water her twice more, and then let her dry off for an extra day, and then harvest her on day 71 or 72. That should give her an extra couple of days to fatten up, even though the colas already look like they are about to burst.
Everything else is looking wonderful. The “Blueberry Cough” and the “Channel” Twin #2 are both Beasting out. They are both on Day 48 of flowering, and are starting to color up a bit. I am starting to notice a lot of orange hairs. I don’t really like the fact that they are all woven into the net. I think that will hinder their growth a little bit. Hopefully not too much. As I saw with the first “Channel” Twin, even the branches that are laying almost flat can produce huge top colas, if you lollypop them at the appropriate time. I did some lolly-popping on both of those plants so I think they will be alright. Even if they are not record setters, I have one champ on the way. The Channel Clone.
I think the “Channel” Clone is going to be my record setter. I’m counting 13 big colas and they’re all huge. It’s only on Day 35, but it’s already looking like the biggest plant in my garden.

July 10th, 2018 – Day 62 of flowering for “Channel”. Started the flush today. By my calculations, she’s about 8 days away from being perfectly ready. So she gets nothing but plain tap water from now on. Not even gonna pH it down.

July 10th, 2018 – Day 61 of flowering for my girl “Channel”. Once again, I am having impure thoughts about her. No really. I am thinking about chopping her down early…..

No pictures today, sorry guys. But there is a video. No big news in the garden. As you know, once they start flowering there isn’t much to do but watch and water. I did trim up my vegetation sections because they were getting overgrown. Especially the top rack. It only has one fan, and there wasn’t enough air circulating. I had to chop down all the big leafs. I feel like a monster. A garden monster !!
