Great news! The Clones that I took a couple of weeks ago are now routing in their new pots. They are doing great. I am starting to notice a lot of new growth at the top. I was a little worried in the beginning, that the Clones would not come up as fast, because they were cut from the plant that was in the late stages of flowering. And yes, they did take a little bit of extra time to acclimate. But they are sprouting new growth, and I am very proud. This time around, I do have a 100% success rate with the cloning procedure. The EZ-cloner was money well spent.
The time has come to clone some of my girls. I went ahead and took 3 clones of the White Widow, 3 clones of the Blue Dream and 3 clones of Channel. Those are the three strains that I’m going to keep. I am not keeping the Quebec Purple Bud, because I don’t really like the way it’s growing. I don’t like the fact that it’s really finicky and it is very temperamental. I decided to keep the Channel because I like the smell. And I’m keeping the White Widow because that’s the most medically acceptable strain. And the Blue Dream, that’s just the best tasting but I’ve ever had. So I’m definitely going to keep some of those genetics.
I was a bit worried that I am taking clones of the plans that are already way late in the flowering cycle. But I read online that you can clone from any point of the growth cycle and a flowering cycle, so I will test that theory. As you can see from the photo, the white widows. Those are the Clones that are way way far away from you, they actually have very decent sized buds on him already. Hopefully they will not take any extra time to re-veg.

Not a lot of activity in my garden today. Started the flush on the “Channel” Baby Girl yesterday. She is on Day 63 of flowering, and has about a week or so to go until the target date of 70 flowering days. I am thinking I will water her twice more, and then let her dry off for an extra day, and then harvest her on day 71 or 72. That should give her an extra couple of days to fatten up, even though the colas already look like they are about to burst.
Everything else is looking wonderful. The “Blueberry Cough” and the “Channel” Twin #2 are both Beasting out. They are both on Day 48 of flowering, and are starting to color up a bit. I am starting to notice a lot of orange hairs. I don’t really like the fact that they are all woven into the net. I think that will hinder their growth a little bit. Hopefully not too much. As I saw with the first “Channel” Twin, even the branches that are laying almost flat can produce huge top colas, if you lollypop them at the appropriate time. I did some lolly-popping on both of those plants so I think they will be alright. Even if they are not record setters, I have one champ on the way. The Channel Clone.
I think the “Channel” Clone is going to be my record setter. I’m counting 13 big colas and they’re all huge. It’s only on Day 35, but it’s already looking like the biggest plant in my garden.

July 7, 2018 – Saturday – Day 30 of flowering for this “Channel” clone. I do not know if I have mentioned it before, but this is the very first successful clone that I’ve produced. I had seven or eight tries at cloning before I had a successful root pop out. So naturally, I was very excited about growing it out, and flowering it, and trying it out.
It is day 30 of flowering, so the buds are just now starting to fatten up and grow in size. It is very exciting to watch. They are gonna love the extra light that I put in there today. 50% more light should be very noticible.
