Some Chill Tunes: Shinobi Ninja – What If Times

Found these guys on #Twitter. Huh. Who knew that there is decent #music promoted on Twitter. So if you are on Twitter, or YouTube, OR JUST THE INTERNET: look them up. Shinobi Ninja.

Songs That Transcend Generations: The Sound of Silence

This is The Sound of Silence by Disturbed. Freaking amazing. And below is the original, by Simon and Garfunkel. Talk about playing with emotions. 🙂

One Hit Wonders: Oingo Boingo – Dead Man’s Party

Ohh My God !! Do you guys remember this one? I think this was the only song that Oingo Boingo is remembered for. Every time I hear this song, I remember the movie with Rodney Dangerfield, when he went back to college. (lol and they even use the clips from it in the video)

Love the Dead Man’s Party !!

One Hit Wonders: Kris Kross – Jump

#music #video #classic #HipHop #OldSchool #YouTube

This is over 20 years old, and we are still jumping to it. That’s how you know that it is a Hit. Remember that episode of Sopranos? It’s either a hit, or not. And this is definitely a hit.

Music That Makes Your Soul Hurt (in a good way)

Zara and Dmitry Pevtsov performing at the Day of Russia celebration in Crimea on June 12, 2015.  This is a mix of an old Russian folk song “Ohh you wide steppe” and “Dle Yama” (which i’m not even sure what language that is in, maybe Crimean Tatar or Tadjik.)  But it sounds amazing.

Just like some of the comments said, it makes your soul hurt, and brings tears to your eyes.

French Pop Music at its Best: Indila – Derniere Danse

Ohh my GOD !!!  This is a great track by a French speaking Indila.  I first heard this song performed by a kid on a Russian “Voice” rip-off TV show.  This 14 year old girl with an amazing voice sang this song, made my chest cringe, and brought a tear to my eye.  Literally.

In fact it was so awesome, I found a clip.  Enjoy.

One Hit Wonders: Bloodhound Gang – The Bad Touch

You and me, baby, ain’t nothing but mammals, so let’s do it like they do on the Discovery Channel.  Hahaha. Another blast from the past.  This time in a form of a one hit wonder: Bloodhound Gang. I don’t care what they say, its a catchy tune.  Apparently YouTube users agree.  The video has 247.6 million views as of right now.
